Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson lent a helping hand recently to a driver who was stranded on the side of the highway due to a flat tire.
Eric Graves of Fox59 in Indianapolis posted a photo of Richardson alongside Parker Suddeth on I-65, as well as photos of Suddeth getting his car worked on after he experienced a blown tire:
Graves included a screenshot of an Instagram post from Suddeth who said Richardson was “the only man who had the decency to help,” before adding: “I guess I’m a Colts fan now.”
Richardson, 21, was the No. 4 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft by the Colts out of Florida, and while he won the starting job as a rookie, a shoulder injury limited him to just four games.
The 21-year-old signal-caller went 2-2 and completed 59.5 percent of his passes for 577 yards, three touchdowns and one interception, while also rushing for 136 yards and four touchdowns.
Veteran quarterback Gardner Minshew performed well in Richardson’s absence, and the Colts barely missed the playoffs with a 9-8 record, but the starting job fully belongs to Richardson in 2024 after Minshew signed with the Las Vegas Raiders in free agency.
With Richardson leading an offense that also includes running back Jonathan Taylor and wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr., the Colts have a chance to be one of the NFL’s most exciting teams in 2024.
