BREAKING: Star South Carolina Transfer WR Juice Wells Unbelievable Commits To Ole Miss
South Carolina’s Football team will see a familiar face next Fall, as former star wideout Antwane Wells Jr. is heading to Oxford.
Very few football programs have been hit by the transfer portal more over the past two seasons when it comes to losing top stars than South Carolina.
In 2022, the Gamecocks watched big names like Jaheim Bell, MarShawn Lloyd and Jordan Burch all walk out the door and go to different programs.
Back on December 4th, Antwane ‘Juice’ Wells, who had said 10 days prior he would be returning for the 2024 season without specifying which team he would be with, announced that he was entering the portal.
The move drew the ire of Carolina fans, with rumors running rampant regarding the potential reason for why Wells entered the portal.
After looking like he might be going to Texas, Antwane confirmed to ESPN”s Mark Schlabach on Sunday that he was indeed going to another SEC program, but he’ll be taking his talents to Oxford, MS and playing for Ole Miss.
This means that South Carolina will be facing off against a familiar face when the Gamecocks take on the Rebels next season on October 5th.
