Breaking News: Cincinnati Reds Super Star Reliever Undergoes Successful Surgery

This is great news. Hopefully Tejay Antone can make a full recovery!

CINCINNATI — Reds reliever Tejay Antone underwent successful surgery on Friday, manager David Bell told Gordon Wittenmyer of the Cincinnati Enquirer.

He had a UCL flexor tendon repair. It wasn’t a reconstruction and the Reds are “thrilled” with how it went.

Antone is still expected to miss the rest of the season, but surgery was the first step in his journey back to the mound.
