Shocking News: Tiger Woods Ex Wife is involved In Rory McIlroy Divorce With Wife Erica Stoll(video)

Four-time major champion, Rory McIlroy has filed for divorce from his wife Erica Stoll after seven years of marriage. The couple has one daughter together, Poppy Kennedy McIlroy, born in 2020. McIlroy reportedly cited the reason for the divorce as the marriage being “irretrievably broken” according to court filings.

The details surrounding the divorce are fairly private. A statement from McIlroy’s team has shared his desire for an amicable split and that he wouldn’t be making any public comments on the matter.

In 2012, Rory McIlroy met Erica Stoll while she was working for the PGA of America. The couple started dating in 2015 and got hitched in 2017.

FYI, Rory McIlroy has hired Thomas Sasser to represent him. Sasser is a well-known attorney who also represented Tiger Woods in his highly publicized divorce in 2010.

NOTE: Tiger Woods’ divorce from his ex-wife Elin Nordegren in 2010 was a very public affair due to Woods’ infidelity. It was one of the most expensive celebrity divorces at the time. Elin Nordegren received around $100-110 million, monthly child support, and their Windermere home (which she later sold). The estranged pair shares custody of their two children, Sam and Charlie. Currently, they are reportedly on good terms and co-parenting effectively.
